For Sale Update!

 UPDATE!

I got new cards in today! They are single base cards (Not complete sets)

       Base Cards that came in:

  • Juicy Honey 4
  • Juicy Honey Vol. 36
  • Juicy Honey Vol. 37
  • Juicy Honey Plus #03
  • Juicy Honey Luxury Edition 2021 (More Base and SPs)
  • CJ Sexy Jyutoku Vol. 24 Masami Ichikawa

Personal Collection: CJ Sexy Jyutoku Vol. 19 - Marina Shiraishi: Base Card # 59

Showcasing my own personal collection:

A new base card review! Although, now it's time for a CJ Sexy Jyutoku base card- a Marina Shiraishi one to be exact.

I am a HUGE Marina fan. So I thought it was time to do a Marina card! Marina's Jyutoku set is amazing! This is one of my favorite cards from it. I love both of the poses and I love the bra she has. She has a innocent look on the front of the card and a more happy playful look on the other side (which I think shows Marina's personality well!)

It's a bit surprising, for someone who is obsessed with her, not to have many posts about her. I will do more soon! :)

Yakuza: Iori Kogawa!

Model in a Video Game:

This is a shot of Iori Kogawa in Yakuza 0.

Iori is featured in a substory that Majima encounters in Sotenbori. Her substory is quite a ride and a fan-favorite in the Yakuza community. After you complete her story, you can view a softcore video of her real life self in a video booth.

I have to say, the game model of Iori does look like her to a  degree. Good job for 2014! :)

    Here's a video of a playthrough of Iori's substory:

Sealed Box or Buying Singles?

Sealed Box

VS.

Buying Singles

Photo:

This is a topic that comes up in the JH Community and I'm sure in other trading card communities as well. So what is better?

It really depends on the person. Some people prefer knowing what they are going to get for their money. Sealed boxes are a gamble as you might get a good box or a bad box.

Here are some Pros and Cons for Sealed Boxes:

     Pros:

  • The thrill of opening the box and packs
  • The possibility of getting a really good rare card without competition and for a good deal.
  • Good for collectors who collect base and SP cards.

    Cons:

  • You might overpay for your box.
  • Your rares are random so your pulls might not be good.
  • Incomplete base card and SP card set (if you buy one box).

    For buying Singles:

    Pros:

  • You can get what you want.
  • You can get more than what you get from a Sealed Box.
  • Find deals.

    Cons:

  • Good rares can go for insane prices and you might have to pay more to ensure you get the card.
  • Competition for cards in auctions can be intense.
  • Chances are less to get a very rare card for a good price.

Both have goods and bads, I prefer open boxes due to how fun they can be! One of my best boxes was my second Juicy Honey Plus #09 box. I was on my second to last sealed pack, and inside was a Yua Mikami Kaisyo Autograph. Only 10 of them exists. However, my second Juicy Honey Plus #02 box was quite poor: Only receiving an AIKA Honey Costume Type B (which I already had), a Kana Momonogi Honey Bikini, and a JULIA Honey Lingerie Type A. It didn't help that I already had most of the base cards.

So, it can be a huge gamble for sealed boxes despite liking opening them. Buying Singles is more of a safe way to know you are getting a good card but you end up paying more. As I said before, it depends on the person. If you like mystery and gamble then sealed boxes are the way to go. If you like to be sure on what you get and don't mind paying more, then buy singles.
