Do Girls Like Juicy Honey? (Or Other JAV Trading Cards)

Or is it just a guy thing?

     Juicy Honey's audience is geared towards male audience for sure. Nude women, suggestive feminine poses, suggestive cards- so most buyers would tend to be guys. But, are there females who like collecting JAV trading cards as well?

    There are! In fact, I'm one of them! While it's a rare thing, there are some female fans out there who love to collect the cards and love the models. I came to this hobby after playing Yakuza Kiwami 2. The game featured 7 JAV models- 5 who get their own game models. I fell in love with a character named AIKA. I loved personality and thought she was cute.

    I went to find some pictures of her when I discovered- She was real and she was a Japanese Adult Actress. Surprised that she was real, I researched the others and discovered they were real as well. I was obsessed with Yakuza to the point where I would try to collect anything/anything relating from it. I then discovered Shoko Takahashi had some cards for sale. This was the start of my Juicy Honey Journey.

    I got her base cards from Juicy Honey Vol. 43. I never owned anything relating to porn (as I was not too interested in that) but I found Shoko to be so cute that I had to get them! It continued then from there.

    Why do I collect them? As a girl, I don't focus too much on the...How do I say...."hotness" or pervertedness of the models. I do admit, I do buy some cards based off of it but only because of the unique poses. I collect them because I find the girls to be quite beautiful and I admire their looks. I also found Juicy Honey/JAV trading cards to be very classy. 

    I don't care much for western stuff- especially western porn. I've always been interested in Japan and Japanese culture. I will admit, when I was a pre-teen I had a big anime phase that got me into liking Japan but over time it grew to be casual and respectful. I found the Japanese to be very good-looking which helped me like these models.

    I have had a lot of fun collecting these cards! I started in 2019 and plan to collect for a bit. Since the discovery, I have gained a big collection, created a discord for JAV cards, met many collectors and made friends, created a blog showing my love for it, and much more! As strange as it sounds, Juicy Honey has made my life better! I feel more happy and content then before.

    A warning to all:

    Even though I am happier, I must warn about getting too caught up in collecting. Juicy Honey can be a very expensive hobby and if you aren't careful, you might end up in debt. While this hasn't happened to me, I have had spent too much on the hobby and am growing to be more careful about it.
